Hello [[contact.first_name]],
Whether you're shouting "bah humburg" or belting out Cliff Richard and Mariah Carey hits, as Christmas marches towards us, there seems to be a lot more magic in the air than just festive cheer!
For starters, I've never seen so many reports of waxwings, in fact, only today I caught sight of a 10-20 strong flock ram raid our local supermarket trees. (I diligently, if a little reluctantly tore myself away to finish this newsletter!)
Short-eared owls too seem to be making their way across UK in cartwheel inducing numbers. As if that wasn't enough, the aurora borealis has been making numerous and spectacular appearances.
While you could be forgiven for thinking all of the above are more relvant for the North, in fact, all the above have been brilliantly documented throughout the depth and breadth of the UK.
As we enter our first real cold snap of the season, with sprinklings of snow forecast in several areas, the magic seem set to continue. I hope you find this latest newsletter at least inspiring, if not magical :D
Best wishes and thank you for your continued support.
